Embiid Dominates, Nets Fall in Philly
76ers Take 2-0 Lead
Wells Fargo Center, Philadelphia
WEB In a highly anticipated matchup, the Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Brooklyn Nets 137-133 on their home court. Led by Joel Embiid's 34-point performance, the 76ers extended their series lead to 2-0.
The game featured the return of Kevin Durant for the Nets, but it was Embiid who stole the show. The All-Star center was unstoppable in the paint, shooting an efficient 12-of-18 from the field.
Tyrese Maxey and Tobias Harris also contributed significantly for Philadelphia. Maxey poured in 25 points, while Harris added 20. James Harden led the Nets with 29 points, but his efforts were not enough to overcome the hot-shooting 76ers.
The atmosphere inside the Wells Fargo Center was electric, with the crowd roaring with excitement at every key moment. The 76ers will now look to close out the series in Brooklyn in Game 3 on Saturday night.
